Hi guys, help here ... I have the same problem with wiring, but I am not able to find this LOCTITE E-120HP Hysol epoxy, looks like it is out of production or something. Is there any replacement that I can use?

Hi Pleh,
You need to get it somehow from USA since this is not available in EU.
I cannot say alternative material.
You should try to get a similar benzin proof stuff from your local car parts dealer or at official Loctite distributor.
Hopr they can help you.
Good luck!

Gabor

Thank you everyone for this thread - I was able to successfully resolder and replace my S2R 1000 '06 fuel pump wire & epoxy in winter 2022, and I was able to drive all this summer without problems.

I could not find any of the mentioned epoxies here in Finland, so I contacted a Loctite professional and asked for a suitable epoxy for the problem.

The Loctite person recommended Loctite EA 9492 LI so I used that that epoxy for the job, as it is fully resistant to ethanol and fuel.

Hey Guys,
I just wanted to let you know that during winter View attachment 228955 View attachment 228956 View attachment 228957 View attachment 228958 View attachment 228959 View attachment 228960 View attachment 228961
I did the repotting on the modul with the Loctite.
Result looks good so far! No issue with the fuel pump! ;)
Thanks a lot for the help!
If someone has the same issue and has some base electric skill then I'm encourage to fix it your own. ;)
Take care!
Cheers,
Gabor
What did you use to clean the pin holes before soldering?
