I've heard great things about both the Termignoni exhaust System and the Fast By Ferracci exhaust system. I know that FBF does not manufacture their own exhaust and that they went with FORZA before. So, for use of the message board it will be called the "Fast By Ferracci exhaust system/kit" or the "FBF Kit". I want to get your opinion. Which one is better? And why do you think so?

fast by ferracci doesn't make exhaust. they buy from another manufacturer and rebadge them. once upon a time, they went with FORZA. they currently go with sil motor. sil motor cans are available for le$$ than FBF sells them for from a couple of this site's sponsors. termignoni is more expensive but they sell a higher quality product. performance i imagine is virtually identical but materials and build quality are superior.

I have the FBF slip-ons (they're actually Sil Motor) and my riding buddy has the Termignoni slip-ons (both bikes are MS4R's). If you are just looking for sound, get the Sil Motor system. If you are looking to squeeze a bit more power(very little increase) out of your engine, get the Termignoni (they come with an open air box and ECU).

In my opinion they are both about the same quality, and I actually like the looks of the Sil Motor exhaust more because the cans are mounted a bit higher and are a shorter can than the Termi's. Its your choice. Sil Motor (FBF) for around $650 or Termignoni for between $1200 and $1600 with little performance improvement.

I have the FBF and I have a PCIII and an open air box, all cost about as much as EvilDucs friend paid for his Termis. And they were installed by FBF.

I have the Termi's with dynojet stage 1 kit on my 99 750. Although I did NOT pay for them. ;)

I rode my mod-ed bike back to back with an all stock 2000 750 and have to agree the power boost is not the biggest reason to buy Termignoni, it's look and sound. If it were my $$$ I'd follow Deb's & Evil's advice.
