That is the immobilizer saying it's active. It goes away after 24 hrs.

 

That's the 'ready' (for lack of a better term) of your immobilizer system. It's doing what it's supposed to. messing with it will only bring you tears.

And it only blinks for 24 hours after you last shut off the bike.

*dang* he beat me to it. Um other useful info... Uh don't use your red key on the bike, and DO NOT lose it - go lock it in a safe with the code card.

 

actually, it only stops blinking only to remind you to get your ass back on the bike [thumbsup] ;D

No, the red key is quite useful in certain instances.

It's good to have the code card too, but if you don't, well... you don't.
Might want to ask the PO if they've still got it.
