Hey guys... I'm wanting to raise the rear end of my '97 750 higher than is allowed with the stock adjusters. Anyone know of a company here in the states that makes an adapter like Louigi Motors?

It looks like a pretty clean solution. It was either that or I was going to head to my machinist and have him make me some hex spacers.

My work computer filters wouldn't allow me to get to his order screen. [laugh]. I was trying to order a set this morning. I suspect it's because he's international instead of US based.

Then I was curious why nobody else makes such ingenious little contraptions so I posed the question.

i am a total newbie, but i asked the guys at the dealer if they could raise my bike yesterday, pointing to the general direction of the rear shocks (i have a 1999 M900), and they acted like i was crazy  i am 6'4" and i need to change some sh!t up

EONAN -- you are my hero! i have been drooling over your m900 blogspot every since i found it. i want all that stuff -- the rear sets, the clip-ons, the hangers, the mivv cans, the louigi jack-up kit... i'm surprised you didn't like the sargent seat, though they were the best for taller riders like us?

An alternative I used: 2 Aurora female heim joints + 2 short lengths of 8mm stainless steel threaded rod. Screw threaded rod into swingarm hoop. Screw heim joints onto threaded rod as appropriate.

I'm only 5'11" tall, so I ended up with the tops of the heim joints almost touching the bottom of my hoop.

I've an extra pair of Aurora heim joints and rod--I bought them for a friend, but he crashed his bike before we installed them. If you're interested, please let me know by PM and I'll make you a good deal.

see that! and i may well PM and buy from you, just want to check to see if my mechanic (who, i'm pretty sure, thinks i'm an idiot) has some already or even knows what to do with them. i am not about to attempt this mod myself -- don't have the knowledge or the skill, let alone the *anchors* in my garage to do it.

thanks, just sent some emails to louigi. didn't see any parts there, but i have heard he makes some kind of linkage. i have a hooped monster, so not sure if that will work... maybe i have to buy a whole new swing arm setup?
