I recently (May 2015) purchase from a Ducati dealership a second hand 2013 1100 Evo for $17,000 with 2000kms on the clock and in perfect condition. I've only done about 400kms on her since as I'm fifo worker and we've just come out of winter down here. But what and awsome 400k's it's been. She's already got Tremi pipes and abit of carbon bling.
My one main ride was with a mate who rides a fully worked Harley. We were having abit of fun as you do and we were pretty even but I just got the upper hand on him. As most of my mates ride Harleys I don't want to "just" beat them I want to smoke them haha.
I've been trolling through this fourm for over a month and I've haven't found much on proformance modifications except for the ol' 14T frount spocket and was wondering what advice any of you have to make her go that bit quicker.
I spoke to a Ducati specialist today to see what they recommend. They said to unlock the ECU and full dyno tune was $770, 14T sprocket $65, removal and refit of lightend flywheel and replace the oil for $596 and I'm also looking at getting a Rizoma riser for the handle bars (unsure weather to go 42mm or 60mm) at $155 fitted. They are also pricing up a piston kit for me and I will get back to you when they send me more information on it.
My question to you is have any of you guys (or girls) done any of the modifications above, particularly the lightend flywheel and and piston work? Any information is greatly appreciated.
