The titanium is completely unnecessary, but I hate ugly hardware on an otherwise pretty piece. By the time you pay for good looking stainless fasteners in low quantities....titanium isn't much extra. And it does look good.
Life happened, and I’m just now getting to installing the Ducabike rearsets. I have to say, it's not being fun.

DucaBike changed the design of the fasteners on the rearsets. They abandoned bronze plain bearings pressed into the OEM brake/shifter levers, in favor of ball bearings . This makes for a very smooth pedal, but means the OEM-type shoulder bolts won't fit, which is what I ordered from Podium.

I ran into a similar problem with the rearset lower bracket bolts - the OEM steel sleeved rubber mounts that provide a recess for the wide shoulder bolt head have been replaced with a hole and counterbore sized for plain socket head bolts. I ordered the OEM-style shoulder bolts in titanium, too.

I'll contact Podium Racing about returning the lever and rearset bolts for a credit on parts that fit.

Hi,
I am about to do this install and would like to know if you could tell me what size the large socket is to take off the stock rearsets and if any other special tools are needed for the rearset install? Thanks for any help!

24mm. It’s not a difficult install but take your time and of course do one side at a time because the rearsets hold the motor and swingarm pivot together. Also, put up the side stand. It bolts to the motor and loosening the rearset will cause the bike to fall over at best or tear up the cases at worst.

And I would be careful to loctite or antisieze the bolts per the application. No one wants a peg to fall off and you dont want the bolts to seize in the cases either.

Thanks for your insight I feel a lot better about doing the install! I will be doing the CNC rearsets instead of the Ducabikes so hopefully its not too different.

Here are some pics of the cnc rearsets and exhaust hanger. My termi pipes haven’t came in so I think after that’ll itll be a lot cleaner. Seems like quality parts but there’s a small gap on the large 24mm bolt between the rearset and swingarm. I would think a small spacer should of been provided for how much these things cost!
