Hi guys,

Does anyone here installed led beam light on Monster 1200 2019?

I’ve tried to install philips x-treme ultinon led (H1, 11258XUX2), but it doesn’t shine and doesn’t fit either. When I connected wires the led doesn’t shine and cooling ventilation isn’t work.
Anyway it is too bulky. There is not enough room to fit led cooling vent.

Do you need some sort of Canbus canceller?

Hope someone here can suggest the better solution. Stock beam light is rubbish.

I found a potentially helpful video, which covers install, demonstration and products used:
LED High & Low Beams Install - 2019 1200 S

LOW: Aukee H1 LED Bulbs, 50W 10000
HIGH: Aukee H7 LED Bulbs, 50W 6000K

I purchased both from Amazon for $60 total, though have not installed them yet.

Good luck!

An update for anyone who may tackle this project in the future:
I installed the H7 low-beam LED and it works great. Fitting all of the components is not as tight as some have said. It just takes a bit of patience.

The H1 LED, however, is a dual-prong electrical socket whereas the headlight assembly offers only a single prong.
As a result, you'll need to connect the Positive terminal to the headlight's socket - and then connect the Negative to something else.
I put a drill bit through the bulb's Negative post to slightly enlarge a hole that was already there, and then used that to string it onto the metal bulb retaining clip.
That seems sufficiently secure and has worked well so far.

Finally, it should be noted that the H1 LED is about 1/4" too tall and, as such, the panel that seals the headlight will not close completely. Ultimately, the closure seems okay, but not great. I imagine what is normally a fairly robust water-tight seal is now compromised and may be an issue in heavy rain.
This could probably be addressed with a Dremel, but that's for another day.
