im sure they are bitching

i don't know why people feel the need to be compensated when they paid more than a sale

i bought my phone 3 months ago for $200

best buy now has it for $30

oh well.... i'm not expecting them to pay me the difference, why should they?

This just annoys me-you just *had* to have your shiny new toy right away, so you paid the premium for it. Now that the price has dropped, you're no longer happy. What did you think was going to happen? Idiots.

I concur.

It's because this is unsual behavior for Apple. When they release the iBeaver for $20, 6 months later the iBeaver2 costs $20, and the original iBeaver is $15. This time, the same product was marked down after a very short period without an improvement at the original price point.

Bottom line, Apple takes care of its customers. That's why my computer and phone have a picture of a piece of fruit on them, and not another company's logo.

Pussy! Giving in to customer complaints like that. Seriously, you don't see PS3 customers bitching that Sony dropped their prices. It's just something that's understood...

No ****... I was so disappointed that we caved in like that. weak.... but probably all part of Steve-0's master pl4n.

So that's why they gave you $100 credit?

Hmmm, seems like a two birds with one stone deal...

Makes the customers happys and also gets them into the store, to possibly buy more items.

Precisely, therein lies the gimmick.

So you're in the apple store, happily buying accessories for your shiny new toy with your shiny new $100 credit, suddenly you realize you have $150 worth of crap in your arms. But that's ok, it'll only cost you $50, right?

Apple has just made more money off of you, again.

i'm sure stevie-poo has thought this out well in advance. don't think the customers had anything to do with it. but either way, it's still a win/win for everyone...iphone buyers get a "rebate" and apple gets more business...and walks away looking like a bunch of caring badasses. smart move steve.

the funniest part is all the whinney apple fanboys STILL have their panties in a wad about it. there is no pleasing them.

i still love my mac though...and my ipod...and i'll be getting a new ipod soon. cause i'm an elitist asshole. no iphone though...cause i may love apple, but i HATE AT&T more.

So I just saw that the iphone uses the old Edge network, doesnt allow chat, cant blue tooth music, needs adaptors to use anything other than the supplied headphones, and the screens crack often....

....why again is this such a great thing? ::) :-\
It's not.

It's a waste of money.

Maybe people should stop sitting on them. They don't just crack on their own.

True. But anything made of glass is going to crack and shatter easier than say, polycarbonate or any other plastic for that matter. So it won't just take sitting on them. Just dropping them or bumping them against a corner will crack them.

I see 15 year olds running around with them and cringe, the amount of things I dropped and abused at that age makes me think they won't last long.
