What problem are you trying to solve?

Adding a lot of non-functional extra weight to the front fork assembly isn't the reason most of us bought Monsters in the first place, but good luck with your mod.

 

I have seen a couple of pics somewhere, but honestly thought it looked hideous, something like the new Triumph.

 

I like the dual round headlights on the Triumph Street Triple (not the new weird shape they have on the Speed Triple). I'm not too thrilled with the headlight on the current-gen Monsters; If I could swap it out easily for something like what the Street Triple has I wouldn't hesitate!

 

I disagree, the Street Triple looked really cool when it was first introduced but it looks kind of dated now IMO. I almost bought a Street Triple a few years ago but ended up buying an SV650 instead. Now I have a Monster 1100 EVO and there is no way in hell I'd put dual headlights on it. I think it looks cool just they way it is.

 

it will look hideous. If I would change the headlight. I would go for the previous monster headlight with a clear lens

 

If you are interested in changing the lights here are some options http://www.streetfightersinc.com/DucatiAccessories.htm as you will likely need new brackets, etc. Although do think that dual headlights will ruin the look of the bike, but to each his own.

My friend has it on his 1100. I think it looks good. Don't listen to the others. I'll see if I can find a pic. I kept my stocker, but that's because I painted the headlight frame red to match my bike's frame.

 

That would be awesome if you could locate a picture.. im seriously considering this mod.. but id like to see it first.

I have the same dual headlight set up, they are halogens. However I havent figured out how to refocus them as I think they are pointed incorrectly.
