2002 Monster 750 Steering Damper??

Hey guys, I have been doing a lot of research trying to find a top mount steering damper for my 2002 Monster 750 and have come up empty. I contacted Scotts and they have one for the 2001 but they say it wont fit the 2002 model year.

I know that there are a couple side mount dampers out there but I really want to find a top mount if possible.

Take a photo of one of the top mounts (ex Bitubo) to a machine shop and have them make a bracket. You only need two pieces and hardware. My dad was able to make one for me, and I only had to buy a damper on eBay for cheap.

Damn, I was hoping for something that would just bolt up but looks like I am going to have to go that route.

There are bolt on options. They're just pricey.

I designed this mount...

It works with my set up, probably would need to be reconfigured for a bike with handlebars...

Wow that mount looks awesome, it looks like for now I am going to go with the Ohlins side mount damper until I find a top mount that is suitable.
