Hi gang

Bored out of my skull and its cold/gloomy out. Since i'm still waiting on my Sil HiMounts & new seat (damn UPS) I'm going to clean up the frame some more and reroute some more wires.

Got two questions:

1) the largeish wiring bundle that runs along the right side of the frame all the way from the front to the back. Is it possible to route this in the underside of the gas tank or just hide it behind the frame?

2) Anyone know what the part number is of the little groovy rubberized straps that are on the frame?

I just ziptied the front of that bundle to some of the intake and airbox parts, as I recall.
I routed the back of that bundle up and over the top of the rear cylinder head, but I've got a water-cooled motor, so that may not be a prudent approach for you.
I had to lengthen the wires for the rear brake switch and oil pressure sensor to accomodate.

Not being a [email protected]$$, but the part# is printed on the longer ones...

741.1.013.1A (83mm long, used to go around the frame tube and wire bundle)
741.1.012.1A
741.4.038.1A
741.4.013.1A (I think this is the shorter one)

All show as about $1 on the SpareShack price list.

I have more than a dozen of those. Unlike most of the other Monster parts, if you need some, you can send me a stamped, self addressed envelope and I'll send you (or anybody else) as many as you want at no charge.
