Has any one cleaned up the wiring and hoses? I am trying to simplify and clean up the looks as much as possible. Like "T" ing some of the drainage lines and completely removing the kickstand harness. Is there any items that can be removed that will not affect normal running. I think that some of the wire connections can be soldered and cleaned up.

hey Mark, I did the same thing to my 95 and it really cleans up the lines.
the only ones to watch are the battery vent and the carb drains. I mistakenly routed the battery vent over the front cylinder which resulted in burn/stains on whatever was under it.
I also routed the carb drains to exit behind the engine betwen the swing arm. just make sure they are long enough to finish lower than the exhaust.
I tried to do something with the side stand switch but it seems impossible to get a 7mm (?) spanner on the switch due to its location on the inner side of the bracket.

I'm in the process of doing this as well. If you guys could take pictures I'd love to see them. I removed my sidepods, and jsut got done trying to re-route all the crap under them.

This is a "free" mod that really cleans up the bike so lets keep this thread alive with updates, and pictures if possible.
