I need one for a 2002 Monater Dark 750. I hear replacing the headlights are very expensive.

Thanks,

Tom.

ya, but headlight protectors look dopey :p. I'm pretty sure you can buy the stuff from a well stocked hardware store and just cut it yourself.

What do you cover the headlight with? I am new to biking and so am a little ignorant about such thing.

the stuff i've seen is just like, a flexible lexan sorta thing with an adhesive back. It absorbs the impact of whatever hits your headlight... so you don't break your headlight. But they scratch easily, and they turn yellow after a while, and they don't look good IMHO

I got a clear one from my local BMW dealer and it was only 10 bucks and you have to look really hard to tell it's on there. It's also really easy to install and remove. ;)

My local Ducati dealer could not find one in his catalogs. Neither could Cyclegear. They have a lot more for the Japanese bikes.
