Leonard Cohen. His poetry and music tap into something very human but unspoken by most. He says what he feels without censoring, and probably needed his monasticism to be able to get beyond "Bird on a Wire."
Or Helmut Newton. Same thing. The ability to put his very personal self into the spotlight through his work. And his having survived just that.
Or maybe that cute waitress down at the locals only cafe, 'cause I know with a couple glasses of wine she'll see how artistic and deep I really am and put out.
