I'm in northern MD, but my local cycle shop won't change Ducati tires as they won't buy the adapter (they don't see many Ducs). Hit YouTube and you will find many poor man / woman techniques. If you ride with other riders pool your resources and buy a tire changer. Work out a schedule and fee (much less than dealer) to use it. Or buy your own. Change your own tires. You can do it.
A friend of mine opened a shop in Bethel CT, Hamlin Cycles. He is a Moto Guzzi dealer as well as a certified Triumph mechanic. They had no problem changing the tires on my S2R1000. About an hour drive/ride from Hartford.
