What is that black box between the right rearset and the side panel?

It's covered with a silver aluminum plate, and is in the way of the termi high-mount pipes I'm trying to put on. the stupid instructions that came with the termis don't mention anything about it, but it's obvious it's in the way.

Anyone else put high mount pipes on their 620 know how to work around this?

I figured it was emissions something...

I'd like to be able to deal with it now rather than wait for the kit to show up.... could I rig it for a couple days or something? rather not have to leave it on the stand that long...

gonna do search on emissions removal and see what comes up.. thanks guys

here is how to remove the emissions cannister

its easy, just remember to plug the holes [thumbsup]

I'll second that. I used that same instruction. It's easy. No kit is necessary. Removal of the ugly box is necessary.
