You might want to call magnacharger:http://www.magnacharger.us/
They make superchargers for Harleys, the v-max and the Valkyrie. I have read test with their bikes and one of their 88 cu in HD with minimal other mods made over 100 ft lbs of torque just off idle.

why not jsut a hyabusa or something like that.

Seriously though, if you wanted a turbo or a supercahrger, you'll have to mod an existing turbo kit for a car or bike. And secondly, considering they are not dime a dozen, I'm sure they are going to charge you like $4k- +++

There is a M750 with a supercharger out of the bike shop I use here in Brisbane (funny enough, Ducati Brisbane). It has also been featured in a mag (in Australia) called "Performance Streetbike", issue number 79.

Just a bit from the story...

He uses a "Wipple blower" or Swiss Autorotor supercharger at 35psi, CR of 9:1, a pair of 42mm Mikuni carbs re-sleaved and re-jetted. This installation cost approx AUD3500.

Thanks Phil,
I was wondering where i'd seen the pic in the Mag?
Must have it somewhere at the house.

S4, yea i guess a Hyuawhatever would be nice, but it's not a monster!

If i were to get rid of the monster i'd only go & buy an S4R or a 999 (just abit short of the A$37k) anyway, so i may as well "Play" with the one i got.

I just love projects & tinkering.

Will dig up the article & research.

I checked with someone at magncharger. Seems it cost about $25k to design a new system. Lots of CAD and CNC programming involved.

Phew!!! $25k, US or Aussy, there's a new S4R & three parts of the way to a 999.

K3-4k would have been a option.

Oh well, you never know what might show up, in the mean time Keep saving (& stay away from Mod's)

A supercharger for a Ducati would have to involved redesigning the engine case to connect he crank shaft. A turbochargre would be a more cost efficient to create. If you want to create your own, I'd start with "RB Racing" for parts: http://www.RBracing-rsr.com/
or contacting Tom Hull at "Tom's Italian Tune And Service" in Mesa Arizona. Tom is a master of turbo systems and Ducati's: http://www.TomsItalianTuneAndService.com/

8)I've been collecting information on turbocharged (supercharger, nitrous charged) Ducati's motorcycles on my web site http://www.TurboMonster.com/
