I have a 2000 M900 and maybe this is a stupid/repeated question, but I was curious why the top of the head, hidden by the tank it's stamped V2? Mean anything cool, like this is the super, jazzed up, limited number, race ready, you're extremely special version 900 engine? Fingers crossed. Thank you, if you take the time to read and reply to this. Right on! Thanks.

There were two types of heads used on the 900 motors.
The V2 version are the larger heads used on 00-02 and early models

96-99 had 'W' heads which were smaller 750 valves and cam.
a little more torque, but a significant drop in horsepower

Thanks for your time Jeff. That's interesting. I knew there was something different about it. Probably read it right here! But, thanks, cool stuff.
