I am a complete nitwit when it comes to motorcycles in general let alone Ducati's. I hope you guys can help me solve this mystery. I bought a second-hand Ducati Monster 600 from 2001 and found two hoses, next to each other, just hanging from my fuel tank. My question is there function, and more importantly, where do I need to connect them or put them? Please see attached picture for more information.

Hello, those hoses are hanging, one is for draining the excess fuel, and the other is the purge ventilation

I removed the hoses from these (and didn't take a photo) - does it matter which way they go back on or are the two hoses interchangeable?

Hello, the ventilation and purge hoses are indifferent, here the important thing is that the hoses are resistant to gasoline, I use Fuel / Emission 1/4 "in SAE j3R7- 50PSIWP
