I've got a 2005 Monster 620, pretty much stock except from clip-ons and a new dirt bike handle bar. Lately I've notice when the temp is hot outside (90's) I have trouble accelerating . . . here's what happens. I let the clutch out so it grips while slowly accelerating, not problem there. At about 3 to 4k RPMs when I continue accelerating the RPMs will rise quickly but without the bike accelerating like it usually does. It's almost like it doesn't catch or looses friction when I accelerate. The speed does increase, but not like it should, maybe 1/3 of what it usually does. When riding without accelerating quickly it's ok but when I get on it I have this problem. On the freeway to day I was going about 65 and tried to quickly accelerate and the RPMS revved up but didn't catch until I let off the throttle a little bit. Any ideas? It's weird but I only seem to have problems when it's really hot outside.

Thanks in advance for the tips and advice.
