I just wanted to get some opinions on this. I recently had my clutch rebuilt, and when i got my bike back I noticed a wierd noise. When I first roll on or off the throttle there is a popping sound like something is loose in there, too much play. I can burp the throttle at any speed and hear this noise. Kinda like axel slack on a car. I checked the chain and it's fine. Is this a sign of a tranny problem.

Have you checked the nut holding the flywheel? I understand that b/c of the way it is made, it can work loose rather easily leaving the flywheel to rattle around a bit. Haven't had it happen to me, but my mechanic checks it religiously...

good luck.

I'll have that checked. I'm installing a new front sprocket soon so I'll take it in.

Thanks
