I'm going to need to trailer my bike to a shop and it will be raining like crazy this week. Typically I'd remove the seat assembly in case it would fly away while trailering, but this would expose the voltage regulator to the rain. Would anybody know how sensitive this unit is to getting soaked?

Thanks

I've hauled many Monsters over thousands of miles and never removed the seats. I've never had an issue.

Don't do the tarp thing you, will be sorry, no matter how tight you put it, it is going to rip and flap and scar the paint!!

I have trailered many times and if the seat is on properly, you won't lose it, and we trailered in very heavy downpours, just wipe the bike down when you get her inside.. The seat should not be an issue, keep it on there, and don't cover the bike!

Thanks you all! I'll carefully put a strap around the seat and drive away. Regards.
