My 96M900 stock front brake line {rubber} needs replacement..poorly routed caused rubbing .. so I found some steel braided ones and am going to attempt to change them. Any tips on how to make this an easy swap? The kit I found is going to be bought from Revoluzione in Calgary...I believe it's a Gaffer {sp} kit.

Be aware that you can rotate the banjos to ensure there's no torquing of the lines and to help routing and fit. Use the rounded area of some pliers or similar to get a firm grip on the crimped area, using a folded towel to protect them from damage. You should be able to use your free hand - or insert something that won't mare the connection (e.g., wooden dowel) - and SLOWLY rotate in one direction only. Also, don't over tighten the crush washers.
