Help me talk my domestic partner out of a Brutale 910R. She doesn't want a S4Rs. And yes, she can handle the power.

Brilliant bike. The only watercooled naked I'd buy. Sorry.
Matt, where is the help buddy? But, I kinda agree, it's an interesting bike. Don't tell her I said this though.
I Say let her do it mate..............then you can sneak a ride on it from time to time..........

Just remember to wear your disguise so none of your friends will recognize you. [cheeky] [laugh]
Did you have something in mind you want to talk her into? That will help us phrase the argument. One s4rs is likely enough in the house... I already have a suggested list for when my wife outgrows the 620.

SBK? great deals on 999s right now.

What's YOUR thought?

Chris
i think moto bella should chime in on this, as she recently got a second bike and sweet new toy to add to her stable! [thumbsup]

Very cool wife. Brutale 910r, oh yeah, very cool wife.

Sorry, "domestic partner"
maybe you don't wanna be envious of her bike?? >:D
let her get the brutale! so what word or term has been replaced with "domestic partner"
let me know so i can keep up on my political correctness like they do in cali >:D
SO = significant other has replaced domestic partner.

Your SO has her mind set on a brutale, there's no talking her out of anything.
i say let her go for it!!!

i just got an 05 brutale 750 to keep my monster 620 company :)
what an amazing ride, i cant stop smiling. top notch build quality too.
the 910 r is even more torquey....that will be a fun ride for her :D!!

maybe shell even let you ride it :)
one thing with the brutale I had that I didnt like...

25 mpg

seems very bad for a bike.
shhhh

yeah that is definately one crummy thing bout them. thanks for reminding me ;)
Let her have it. And then let her have it. >:D

For the 750s: http://www.moto-one.com.au/performance/brutale750eprom.html

As for the 910R, it's an amazing bike, I can't say I blame your SO for wanting one. I've seen a few up close and I'd seriously consider it if I had 18k ;)
I think at least a dozen guys have said, while admiring the Duc, "Man I'd love to get one of those, but my wife..." Your partner's da bomb!! Talk her into a 1098 if you want to be an all Ducati family and that Hypermotard is going to be pretty sweet. Does she have a single sister with an Aprilia Tuono factory?

ya i hear Lambos and Ferraris get shite gas MPG. A Toyota Echo for me thank you. I am so sensible ;D

we're not all part time motorcycle brokers who are moonlighting as college students, thus we can afford and extra $5 per week >:D

I say go for it. There's nothing wrong with diversity in the garage. Like Industrial Girl said...ask miss moto_bella about hers. Can you say perma-grin?

I purchased my 910R in October and absolutely love it. Not only is it an amazing piece of art, but it handles unbelievable well, has amazing components, has power...power...power, and it makes me smile and dance too. It is a LOT of bike, especially since i graduated from an M620, but it is something i plan to ride forever! My only issue with the bike is the seat height.... i am still trying to feel comfortable on a taller bike (I am 5'2"), but otherwise she is perfection. As far as gas mileage... 25-28 mpg is not ideal, but in comparison to a top line monster.... it becomes a moot point.

I am not surprised that your SO wants a brutale 910R.... who wouldn't? I guess my question is, why don't you want her to have the bike?

I say, 910r's for everyone!
