Ok, so whoever tightened the bolt on one of my belt tensioning pullies was a little overzeallous. It was on there way tight. I tried really hard not to strip the 6mm allen head, using quick wraps with a mallet, but it happened anyway. I was able to eventually get it out with an angled wack with a chisel.
Anyway, the local Ducati dealer is closed tonight and I'd like to get the belt change over with. Can I just pick up a similar bolt at homeless depot? It is the bolt on the tensioner that uses the washer, not the one that has a round, smooth head. Can I pick up any 6mm head bolt that fits? what material/dimensions should I look for? or should I just wait to get a ducati bolt. just want to get it right as I'm a little nervous dealing with the belts.
