started up my bike today and not gettign a reading from my temp gauge. just reads --- .

anyone else had this problem or knows how to fix it?

nevermind fixed the problem. The wire had come disconnected. Just had to find the wire. Thanks to a post someone else made I located it.

you mean the wire at the "engine" side of the circuit? where does that go? dang newfangled ducatis are too complicated...

Same thing happened on my '03 800. Replaced under warranty.

look right below the oil window, the wire that's connected to the temp probe becomes easily dislodged. Just slide it back on. Dont try to push it on.
