Hello folks. Long time reader, first time poster. Just got my first bike, a secondhand Monster 620 Dark. It came with a ding in the side of the tank that I thought I could live with for a while. But now I notice another very small "nick" in the top of the tank. Small amounts of gas come out of this spot when the bike is hot - probably emits as vapor and then condenses. Anyway, I think I need this fixed. And maybe the other ding too. I'm looking for suggestions or recommendations on Boulder/Denver area folks who can perform this work.

Sorry you got no responses. I don't know of anyone specific. I'd try calling some M/C shops and ask if they have any recommendations.

Go check over at www.mra-racing.org, there are prolly some ppl on there that can steer you the right direction. There's a good dent puller guy here in Ft. Collins, but that's a little far.

Sounds like you may need it welded too eh? however you go about it, I'd check the MRA site. Lots of good help there. If that doesn't work, try posting on their Yahoo!! groups message board. If you still have no luck (which is doubtful) call up www.ericomotorsports.com and they'll help.

I am pretty sure Norm from this board does tank repair for $200. PM him and see what the procedure is.
