Simple question - so I know someone here will be on it in a snap [thumbsup]

Can't figure out the nut size for securing the rear taillight housing to the mounting bracket ???

One of mine is missing and I can't seem to find the proper mate...

Much thanks for everyone's help

it's a 10mm nut, 6mm x1.0 thread pitch [thumbsup]

Ok. Let me rephrase this because I didn't realize the misunderstanding, criticism, and commotion that would arise from the short, to the point answer I left. The nut is taken on and off with a 10mm wrench (long or stubby),(box or open end), (6 point or 12),or socket (6 point or 12)( deep, short, or mid length) so the hexagon is 10mm across two parallel lines/sides. the threads on the inside diameter (I.D.) of this hexagon is 6mm and the thread pitch is 1.0. oh yeah, it's a right hand thread.

should I get a lawyer and get a waiver signed? [laugh] [laugh]

See ;D that's why this board rocks!

Much thanks MichMonster!

BTW - I liked your storage skid - I made a very similar one using a shipping platform fortified with 2x4's - works perfect!

Cheers!

the threads are 6mm x 1.0 thread pitch.
just because you use a 10mm wrench on it doesn't make the nut a 10mm nut.

trust me, i used to be a doctor!
