Severed fingers,turnsignals, giant LEDS,barends?
my neighbor put in round bullet lamps in the holes for turn signals. He has them wired inside the tubes.looks pretty cool.

turn signal would be my first choose, ive looked , can not find a light to fit.
he told me once they were off some kind of Harley :-X. they just fit the holes just right. he's out of town, but when he gets back I'll try to get pics and info..... [thumbsup]
I used the plastic bar end pieces. You can get them at your local ducati shop. They fit perfectly. I just painted them red and they look awesome. [thumbsup]

I want a set , they are perfect.
They look nice. What's the anchoring mechanism like?
I like the fact that they have the same O.D....it looks seamless [thumbsup]
Ciao,

thanks !!!!

We do this specially for tail chop, so they fit perfect ...

Its a small market, but ducati are our passion, so we dont like plastics [laugh]

If you like the design maybe you like also our brand new (in production) frame plugs

left for tail chop, right for frame/engine

one design for all holes ;D

I had a replacement tube made to loop around the open frame holes, like a bumper.

I drew up eight different design ideals...

[clap] how is it held in place?
I put some silicone on the portion that inserts into the frame (to eliminate and vibration) and there are two small set-screws on the bottom (one on each side).

The plate holder is attached by the bolts behind the tail light.

I kinda like that. Good call.
Can you do an exhaust that will run up under the seat?

The short answer is "Yes", but you have to made some other changes...

Like stiffen the rear suspension to the point the bike is close to a hard tail. The standard rear suspension gives enough wheel travel that it can crush the can's. Plus you have to figure out how to route the exhaust pipes without interfering with the rear suspension.

I'm sure there some bikes on the DML with it done.
Gotcha, thanks for the quick response. My 695 is still new and I don't have a lot of cash to mod with. I think i'm gonna start with a tail chop and a wind screen/tail cowl followed by some billet goodies and maybe by the summer have enough for the "Performace Kit" (Termis, ecu and a new air filter)
For those with pre-ST framed Monsters, Renthal bar ends fit perfectly and are a smiple cheap solution to the tail-chop. Quality of the Renthal stuff is great and the overall diameter is near 100% of the early monster frame.
Look below.

It's what I used on my monster, as Renthal accesories are sold in just about ANY trail/dirt bike shop you're bound to find some. - Chris
