got my bike back, so after 3 long mths on a scooter i'm keen to go for a ride. was thinking of this coming sunday; any time, any desto
start with a coffee @ mecca and than........lets go ridin'

hey melvin, good to hear the bike is back!

Will need to see what's happening this weekend, I am not sure I can do Sun, but will try!

Also, I think that mecca is not open Sunday oh well, I guess Alex and Paul need a break too !

well, i can do saturday or sunday or both - taking a w'end off. attending a "do" on sat so thought of sunday but wtf; "do" means nothin' when ridin' is an option

Oh and My brother sold his BMW and picked up a S4RS [thumbsup] [thumbsup] ( smart boy [laugh]) So he will be up a spin also.

Family leave for Culburra on Friday and I'm free to take my time heading down on Sat.

OK, my thoughts:

As kickstart needs to go south, and ducmonrob is already there, I am thinking that south is feasible...

so a suggested itinerary:

8.30am - Depart Mecca for people wanting a quick espresso and ride day. You choose when you want to arrive!
9.15am - Loftus Oval for a quick collect of anyone - no stoping

RNP

10.00am - Bald Hill for 15min stop and collect people.

Mt Keira (or any other fun way down to the gong)

Head downards Nowra, then up Cambawarra (sp?) mountain to Robertson (awesome road!). Stop @ the pie shop / pub for lunch

Optional - go up and down the pass once (or twice)

Head back towards mittagong (ducmon and mmick know the way), meet the hume and there decide whether you go along picton road and back up the RNP (or home to the gong) or straight back into the city.


I am guessing that will get you back @ Loftus oval (if you do the lot, i.e back up the RNP into Sydney) about 3pm-ish depending on how long lunch goes for...

okay, i'm in !

I've been invited to two other rides, i'll pass on them and come on a MONSTER ride !! The other two rides are down south also, so I think i'll bump into them.

I'll be the group photographer on the day.
I need to buy a new digicam though, my old trusty Fujifilm S5000 fell off my shoulders at 100km/h last weekend . . . and get this, its still works, held together with electrical tape.

So where do we meet and where do we ride ?
Are we doing Mecca pre-ride caffeine shots ?
