This may not be as bad... At least it is not coming out the other end:
Nov. 14 - Coffee connoisseurs are going ape for a rare brew that Taiwanese farmers are producing with the help of monkeys.
Formosan rock monkeys have long been a scourge to coffee farmers in Taiwan's mountains because they eat the ripe berries and spit out the seeds.
But now, the farmers are collecting these half-chewed seeds and roasting them to produce a coffee that is being brewed all over the island.
Coffee farmer Liao Jingdong tried to roast beans which had been spat out by monkeys and discovered a unique taste, different from the original. Liao says the discarded seeds yield a sweeter coffee with a vanilla-like scent, which sells for about $56 a pound (450 grams).
How are you coming on replicating the diet of the luwak for your little primates? The stomach acids need to be just right for the beans to come out right! (I'm afraid apple juice may taint the flavor)
I go to school in Providence and im getting on a plane at 5 to come home for the week. im not sure they would let me walk on with a box of donughts. If you know that i wouldnt get a cavity search trying to smuggle canadian goods to Denver then i would try it. If you want a couple bags of coffee no problem. let me know
Great, now I have coffee all over my screen! Thats a first.
I'm only 2 cups deep right now. They day is young, but sadly I am out of Espresso. Normally start the day off with a shot first thing in the morning. Then over to the watered down version. I take it black. (Reminded me of Airplane, the movie). I am just praying that UPS shows up soon with my espresso.
