Just mounted a Storz steering damper on my 2000 M900S. Fit was close, but fine! Model 22900M. And reasonably priced. Got it from Joe at Motostrano, a great shop! Not the completely butter-like feel you might get on a more expensive one, but seems OK to me, especially after it's mounted. Will test ride tomorrow.
Oh... why did I mount it? I just wanted to slow down the steering a bit. Fo me, the monster feels a bit quick steering, I guess I'm just not used to those wide bars.
FWIW.

Nice choice on the Storz damper. Marty looked at that one as well. He went with Scott's instead. I choose the HyPro should be intresting to compare after awhile.

I have been using a STORZ for 5k miles maybe they get smoother with use...the one I have is as good as any of the top dollar ones at least in terms of travel and damping. My use is primarily for violent reaction to road surfaces
potholes, washboard and truck-tire trenches in highway asphalt
start light and work your way up to the setting that best suits your riding style and road conditions, what seems to be reasonable damping in static mode may be excessive when in motion
happy trails
