Yeah it's me again, my monster is really moody this year.

Anyways, how do you tell for certain if a battery is dead? I've tested it with a Volt-meter and a battery tester, and the results have been good (battery at 12v, charging at 13.60). Unfortunately, the bike seems to stumble and hesitate to turn over. When I leave it sit overnight, with the trickle charger off, it won't start in the morning. If i leave the charger on it, it seems to start once or twice but begns to misbehave after that. I've had my battery for 3 years, is it time to replace?

Time for a new one. I just went through that with my S4. Lucky (I guess) that it started to show signs of a leak and the dealer replaced it free of charge. I was able to catch it in time and there was no damage. BTW the new battery fixed all the tempermental starting issues.
