Hi all,

I am going to change the oil and do some chain maintainance on the bike this weekend. I want to get a rear wheel stand. I have never looked into these before (always had cruisers that I could lift with a couple of car jacks under the frame). What type of stand should I look for? Are there different types? Whats best for a Monster? etc.
Basically I know nothing about these so any info would be greatly appreciated.
TIA

Handy makes good stands and can be bought as a pair for less then a lot of single stands......if you want to spend more money
look at Pit Bulls...if you get a front stand you may want to consider getting one that attaches to the front bottom yoke instead
of under the fork so you could adjust the forks also....

The PitBull stand comes highly recommended from a friend as well as a number of members of this list. So I ordered a rear stand and the new front stand from ca cycleworks. Can't wait til they get here. :)

i have a rear pit-bull stand also. love it. just make sure to adjust the pieces that hold the swingarm as tight as possible to avoid any slippage and a possible tipover.
