As the title suggests, my rear shock and swingarm joints have begun squeeking when I sit on the bike and the suspension compresses. Are there grease points in the rearend to remedy this? If not, how tough is it to lube the swingarm bushing and shock?

2000 M900Sie (factory Ohlins rear) with 16K miles.

Thanks.

The squeak is more likely coming from the heim joints on the hoop, or the linkage. There are needle fittings on the heim joints. The rest needs to be disassembled to be lubed.

The swingarm has needle bearings in the engine case. It is not a difficult job. If you pull the pivot pin make sure to take note of which shims went where.
Thanks Ducpainter. I'll have a closer look at the heim joints and try to isolate where the noise is coming from.
