Are there any other sprockets made for other bikes that will fit a monster??? I know that R1 50mm clipons fit, it just seems to be hard to find a diverse selection for monsters, and I'd like to be able to shop ebay for one that isn't advertised as a monster sprocket, but will do just fine. :)

Would be nice if we could all contribute to a compatibility chart by year/model monster so that it can make our shopping lives easier... If not here, I was planning on doing one myself anyways if anyone would like to contribute their findings...

not to sound extravagant, but sprockets are pretty cheap brand spankin new as it is (in relative terms). call up your local dealer for some prices and compare to motowheels.com.

Or try ca-cycleworks.com he sells AFAM sprockets (same brand on most jap bikes) for very reasonable prices.

I'm not positive, but it looks like Retro posted a pic of the Stealth sprocket from Sprocket Specialists. I picked one up a few weeks ago for around $60. At the time the Stealth wasn't listed on the website for the Monster so you might have to ask.

If you go to an image in any post and do whatever you PC guys do, to get to: Open Image in New Window. Opening the image in new window takes you to the server (URL) hosting the image. More often then not that URL also the web-site for the image shown. My bad. The link is here:

Neat product!!

1. Anyone have a WEIGHT for one of these Stealth sprockets? (include the number of teeth and the model Monster it fits, as weight will vary by number of teeth and specific configuration)

2. What American sources if any? (the website above only alludes to British and CZ locations)

Steel teeth plus light alloy body gives you thew best of both worlds: long life and light weight. Also LOOKS great!

There is a US dealer link on the site Jim, it is here. http://www.supersprox.com/dealer.php?code=US
But I bought mine through Manley Cycle in Mpls. MN. and I assume they went through Parts Unlimited, not sure though. Maybe our sponsors can source them?...but if I remember correctly the chain, sprocket deal for the DML through Jeff, was Sprocket Specialists, as linked above, they are US dealers....
I got a 41 tooth, and I am sorry I can't not remember the weight difference.....I know with the galfer rotor and stealth I lost some luggage in the rear for sure..but I wouldn't think it was too much of a gain...the one I have looks like this one....

Thanks, Retro! I appreciate the quick resposne and info. I'll investigate, as this ties very nicely to my "weight reduction" thread I just posted.
