Has anyone installed spools on an aluminum swingarm? I am thinkig about modifying my S4 to accept spools by welding two machined/threaded blocks equally spaced front to back. I am by no means an expert Auminum welder but I do know one. Is it that easy or am I missing something?

uh you might want to check tony's spools out at Manley on his race bike.....they also act as sliders......I'm thinking of doing the same thing....and John I think tapped his swingarm rather than weld.....it seemed easy to do and no more slippin on the stand...
