I ride a 2004 M800i.e. I need to change out the gauge cluster as I will be moving out of the US in a few months. I have a parts manual on-line which indicated a part number for the unit in mph. Problem is it doesn't specifiy numbers for speedos in metric and/or imperial.

Could someone tell me which part number would get me a gauge cluster indicating in metric or metric plus imperial? The current imperial part number is 406.1.026.1C. I'll chance a guess the others would end in 'A' and 'B'.

Cordially,

Gauge clusters are coded to the imobiliser, this means you will also have to replace the ecu and the keys, very expensive.

A much better solution would be to replace the dial faces with ones that are calibrated in kmh. would cost around $30.

This guy can do them.
