I'm needing a quick source for valve stem seals for my 97 M900. Any ideas?

I'm not sure what you mean by a valve stem seal. If it's under valve stem, either use any old "O" ring or tighten it down with some silicone as a sealant.

Thanks for the help. I found a set of 4 at Ducati of Seattle and they're en route. Very helpful folks. I'll certainly use them again.

Norm--You need to brush up on some basic Ducati nomenclature and techie stuff. Valve stem seals are the little rubber boots (two green and two black) that slip over the valve stem of each valve and serve to keep oil from blowing by the valve guides, into the combustion chamber and out the exhaust. Split or damaged valve guide seals result in excessive oil consumption.

Welllllll.....there are valve stem seals on the valve stems in the rims, and the valve stem seals in the cylinder heads.

Different parts, same names.

I reckon Norm's replaced a few valve stem seals (of both kinds). ;)

Sorry. Didn't think it was that confusing, but. . . ::). Good for me the parts guy at Ducati of Seattle knew exactly what I was asking for and wasn't confused by the nomenclature. . .
