One of a kind.... 996 SPS Ducati... just 75 of these were imported into the US in the year 2000. This one is Serial Number 1282 out of 2000 manufactured for the world. The 996 SPS is highly regarded as one of the best Super Bikes around with it's lighter forged Marchesini wheels, Titanium rods, wild cams, full Termignoni exhaust, Ohlins TiN front forks, Ohlins rear shock, Ohlins steering damper, fully adjustable steering head and at least 15 HP over a regular 996. Shipped from the Factory with carbon fiber everywhere including the front fender, rear fender, ram air tubes, side panels, chain guard, lower front, side exhaust guard, tank guard and exhaust canisters makes this a real work of art.

This bike has been maintained by Jeff Nash of Advanced Motor Sports, adult owned/ridden and garage kept since day one. All scheduled maintenance has been performed by certified Ducati Technicians (24k just done)and all Desmo rocker arms were replaced at 18k. At this time, it has a total of 25,465 miles, is in excellent condition and performs exactly as an SPS should.

Tagged and insured in the state of Texas, clean/clear title in hand and 17 digit VIN number so you should be able to transfer it into any state. We are located in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area and would be very delighted to show you this never raced, never dropped, excellent example of beauty and brawn. Original cost $28k plus another 6k in goodies.

Wow, what an awesome bike! Where were you 2 weeks ago?? I just picked up Jari's 996S just last week, I live in Dallas. Not that I'm complaining, the 996S is unbelievably sweet and in great shape... but it's not an SPS! That's a really good price considering all the goodies. And if AMS did the maintenance then there is nothing to think twice about, they are the BEST! Somebody, somewhere needs to snatch up this fabulous, rare, thoroughbred. If I didn't have that 996S I would be knocking on your door in 30 minutes!

And no, for those of you wondering if I was put up to this, I was not. I don't even know these people... but I wish I did!
Thanks to all for the kind words and interest in our Duc.... Sold it to a very excited NEW owner in the cold state of NY.

Regards,

Randy
Sweet, I've been watching this spot waiting to see those "sold" words! It's about time! I'd be excited too, hope that poor cold New Yorker doesn't have to wait too long before he can ride it. Hate to rub it in but last Saturday we all did a 360+ mile ride in 70 degree temp. Maybe he should move to Texas so he can ride it in December! Just kidding, congrats to you both. Outstanding scooter!! You are a lucky man (woman??) what a great Xmas present!
