So Cal Tire Mount/ Balance

508 Views 6 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  fourperf
Hello all,
I recently bought a new set of tires and am looking for a place to mount and balance my tires for a good price. I would like to have the spin balance. If anyone knows of a good shop in the South Bay area in so cal that wont charge an arm an a leg for mounting/ balancing tires that I have bought elsewhere.
Thank you,
Craig

places to go I have used.
Proitalia, cheap if you bring the wheels off the bike
MRI, running some discounts right now.
Thank's Duc_748 for you response. Do you know about how much proitalia charges for mounting two tires? Do they do a spin balancing
Thanks again

P I is really pricey, I dont know where you are located but M C tire works on Sepulveda in the valley is very reasonable.

Thank you Mark. I will check them out.

I think PI charged me like 30 bucks to mount new tires on my 10 spokes off my track bike. In my book, that is damn cheap.
It was done on the downlow or something, just ask if you can bring your wheels.
Call around to what shops you might want to use and ask them how much to mount tires if you bring them
in the wheels and tires, cheapest method to go. As far as I know, all balance methods I have seen when my tires get balanced
are spinning method. Is that what you mean? I keep wanting to buy the tools to mount and balance, but that is just more stuff
in the garage....

30 bucks is really cheap. I doubt you will get P I to mount and balance tires for that price (unless its on the side).

you are welcome craig. I have used P I and mc tire works.
