Is the sidestand on a '02 620 completely straight or does it have a slight bend to it?
My bike was hit, and we can't remember if it originally had a slight bend or if the hit caused it?

mine has a slight bend in it, too...it fell over when I was deployed, but I think the bend is stock

I'd go with what makes the bike more sturdy, or gives you a more likable lean angle . It's not like the sidestands are that great anyway. I'm paranoid as a mofo about my standstand. :-/ I'd like to take the time to make it a little more stable, maybe this winter...

there should be a bend just below the bottom of the return spring.

Isn't there an Aftermarket sidestand that is better than the stock?

the sidestand only seems to be a problem on s4's (taller) and monsters that have raised rear suspensions. check the bolt that holds the sidestand to the engine. sometimes they loosen, allowing the bike to lean more. of course, if loose, it will eventually fall out.

that's what i said, or thought i said. DUCnHAR has a 620, that is why i said to check the bolt. sorry for any confusion
