Check new prices on a 03 or 04 620. If I am not mistaked, they have close to the same HP as a 750, and are going out the door for around the same price. Plus they have full warranty.

There are 900s for the same price, and a 01 M750 for only 4150 in the DML Classifieds

FYI, the 00 and 01 are basically the same, the 02 added fuel injection and a 2nd front brake.

IMO you can probably get a better deal if you hold out. Either deal with the guy on this bike or look for another. As a reference I got an 01 750 with 1,800 miles for $4,700. I couldn't be happier. ;D

I just saw a `00 M750 locally for $3900 (6k miles though), for that price you should be able to get a 900 of the same year.

Try 4200. I got a newer 02 750 Dark for 5000 with only 960 miles. This had the new frame, etc. He can do better on the price.

He will counter. Do not go over 4500.

The season for trade ins and sales is just begining.

Thanks for the advice. Because I waited (due in no small part to your posts) I got my hands on a 2002 750 with only 700 miles for $5500. The bike is mint. So for $500 more that the 2000 750 I was going to buy, I got a 2002 with less than 1/3 the miles, fuel injection, tach, and dual disks. and much closer to my home for pickup than the other bike.
