I tried to adjust mine a few times and wasnt happy until I threw the Ohlins in there. You can adjust the springload with the 2 nuts at the top of the shock, loosen the locking nut and then tou can tighten or loosen the lower nut to create more or less springload. I believe you have a sachs shock.Then the rebound or dampning can be adjusted with a flathead screwdriver. No more than 2 clicks at a time either way until you are happy. Hope that helps.
