Well I promised that if I had any even remotely resembling advance notice that I would be in the area that I would post up locally, so.......

It looks like I'll be laid over in Sacramento, CA. (or possibly South San Francisco. :-\ )for the weekend, and have my Rs on the truck with me. Don't know what the weather is supposed to be doing up there, or if anyone would be up for a ride. :-\

I'll probably take a shot at it anyway. [cheeky] The last time Maya was with me in the bay area her TPS was still having issues from T-Birds Ouray rally, and It killed me to miss the chance of riding there. :'( Not going to happen this time! >:D [thumbsup]

I'm leaving LA here shortly.......I have a little 1966 Jaguar XKE to pickup in Ontario, then I headed to Livermore for one more drop. I'll be leaving my truck at a National Lease shop in Sacramento for scheduled PM Servicing and free for the rest of the weekend.

Since I will be driving and working with the cars, I wont be able to check this thread till I get to Sac. :p

The best way to reach me with your response is via my cell: (405) 517-8147

Please use my voice mail If I don't answer, as I leave the phone in the truck while working with the cars.
(I don't take any chances on scratching anything inadvertently ;) )

Well,
I just talked to shadow chaser. COnsidering his arrival time and the cold lately, we will look for a later leave time.
Prolly around 11:00 or noon. We'll hit Barryessa.
Anyone from the T-puppy clan want to join?

Hi Grio & Co.

Just got in. We are already set on a 10 am meeting with Humbaba. and apparently we are meeting Meltz at around 10:20 at the Napa shell (see Mob Berryessa thread) Can you guys make that? Is it already a done deal? I'm a litle confused.

Anyway I hope we all can somehow hook up. I've got Michael's video camera & tank mount so I'll be shooting the ride!

...and tassels needs a starlet! 8)

If all else fails call my cell! 415-497-5310 ;)

Took Shadowchaser up Salmon Falls and 193 to Georgetown for lunch, then down 49 to hit Poor Reds for an infamous Gold Caddilac.
Beautiful day and a great ride. He may have a few pics to post when he gets settled.

Wow! Looks like you guys had a really great day. [thumbsup] Glad you and Maya made it out alive (btw, how's that ear healing up?). [laugh]

That one's going on my "to ride" list. Hopefully around New Years, weather permitting. ;D

Grio, I was just looking at it on the map. It looks like you take 193 from Georgetown to Placerville, (not 49, as Shadow mentions) is that right? Or is there some way you catch 49 out of Georgetown? I'm a little confused :-\

Oh, and BTW, that Molita is one sweet lookin' bike [cheeky]

There are diferent routes to G-town but off of 49 you can head up and down 193 --that's the route we rode Sunday. After we got back to 49 from G-town we just headed out 49 to Placerville. This gets up in the hills and can be cold, slippery, and wet this late in the season. It was unseasonably warm last Sunday, so watch the weather and be carefull!

Thanks, will do. Maybe I'll wait until Spring or Summer.
