Setting rear sag for the first time after my Ohlins installation and I think I missed something.
I measured the suspension extension with the rear wheel off the ground.
I had the dynamic sag measured (me on the bike feet on the pegs).
I found the difference to be too great (insufficient preload).
After that, I just kept cranking the preload up and checking the dynamic sag again. I never checked the extended dimension again. Should I expect the unloaded extension to increase with preload? If so, I probably dialed in too much because I was assuming the unloaded extension would not change.
I would just go out and check for myself, but of course I have to recruit a beefy assistant or two to do this. So it's easier to ask.
TIA
