Last week, I ordered a Metzler Z4 160/60 tire for my 620 Monster.

in this case, the brake issue is a brake issue. you need to find out why the pad wear is so uneven. it will also take forever for used pads to bed. that tall tire will make the handling faster.

The brakes and the rear tire have nothing to do with each other.

If you sand down used pads so that you've completely removed any glazed surface, they should bed in just about the same as new pads.

And I would have had Cycle Gear remove the wrong sized tire and order the correct one. You won't get quite as good of cornering traction on a 70-series rear tire as you would on a 60.

OK..thanks for the info guys. I'm going to get them to order the right one and have them change it.
