Seems like it's not my day today.... My Duc's first fall....

After having washed and literally shined the bike, wanted to go out for a ride today. Outside there was a neighbor and when he saw my freshlooking bike said : what a great bike....

Then i rev the throttle to start the bike and wooosh... a 3 meters slide and bike down...

Damages include: Chiped paint in the fuel tank, bent shift lever, bent clutch lever, bent exhaust holder, bent left foot peg, badly scratched handlebar tap, left termignoni exhaust, sidestand and left side of the front fork.

Talked to my dealer and probably i should be ok with 200 euros in parts (not including labor) and excluding the tank paint repair..

d**n it :'(

Hopefully i'm ok (i was fully equipped) except my left elbow hurts a little.

hope the neighbor wasn't some hot chick

Nope the neighbor is a 65 year old guy with a large beer belly.

[cheeky]

Ah, yes, the jealous neighbor. We've all seen him, we all have one or two.
That sucks :(

The bright side? No tank dent.

Grab some cycle cat sliders while you're fixing every thing, cheap insurance.

Glad you're okay!!
So sorry to hear about your gal Orfeas. :'(

Hopefully she'll be even better than before when the repairs are finished. :)

So was your tire still damp? :-\
What happened exactly to cause the spill?
It sucks to watch your bike go down. What caused it?
Sorry to hear about the bike.. glad you are ok though! 200EUR for repairs isn´t bad depending on what is broken/damaged.

Yeap, the tyre was still moist but i don't think it caused the spin. I consider myself a good skilled rider cause i lean my bike till the tyres edge and spin and wheelie a lot. AND THAT kind of a fall pisses me off.

Now i can't figure if the left exhaust is bented. I have no photos of my bike's back and it seems to me the whole left side (incl. foot pegs) is bent a little. Does any one have photos of the rear with termis exhausts?
Glad you're OK. Sorry 'bout the bike.

PS. I was in Pireas last year. I have a good friend who lives in Glyfada. And more friends on Rodos.

I would love to ride my bike on the Islands.
OOh Glyfada, that's where i mostly go for a coffee with my duc after doing a little trip to saronida...
