I have a 2001 900 Dark and would like to add a used 2nd hand seat cowl. What hardware do I need to add this to my bike? Are they dealer only type fasteners or could I make do with stuff bought at Home Depot? Thanks.

it uses M6 thumb screws. you can use whatever home depot or lowe's hardware there is. get wide washers, though.

Theres also little brackets that are needed.
if it doesnt have them, you will need to get them from a dealer...
i just got some from from ducatiseattle.

I just went to the dealer. The thumb screws were a buck or two.
