Could we get someone like Chris Kelley to just buy a box full of these screws and sell them to us when we lose them?

In fact, maybe once I find a supplier I might do it myself.

I already have a stash of spare turn signal that I got from the local Harley Dealer (Buell parts). ;)

Unfortunately, I neglected to point out that the part#'s that I recommended from McMaster-Carr DO NOT have a slot.

They're just knurled thumbscrews..........

If you want Stainless, the 92558A200, $9.38 Each.
If Black Oxide is OK, the 92581A430, $5.00 Each.

There are also wing head thumbscrews in stainless:

92625A413, $2.53 Each.

Same wing head thumbscrew is available from these guys:

but you've got to buy 25 pcs. minimum at $1.11 Each.

The wing head thumb screws are not as elegant looking as the OEM Ducati slotted/knurled units, but they're not in plain view either. Additionally, you can get 'em way tighter than the thumbscrews, and you don't need a tool (even if it is just a quarter).
Conceptually, they are a lot prettier than the empty hole left by a departed OEM part, and way better looking than your seat cowl after it's been pressed flat by a semi.
